its a cut down Basil and I used chain instead of the packet brackets to attach to handlebar, what you building?
Cheers for the link, might get one myself! Did you buy it from that place? I might struggle with the language barrier a bit...
I've got a 73 Raleigh track that has seen far better days, it's a state, and not in a nice way, but that's the way I want it for winter as I will be using it as a pub bike/commuter, maybe respray in spring to try and make it half as nice as that Rossin... have been taking pics of its progress to pop on here, only one more to go once the new decals arrive. -

Unbranded headset, seems to be alright;

Shimano RS80 wheels/skewers;
Schwalbe Ultremo ZX tyres;
Specialized Romin Expert saddle;

Lizard Skin DSP bartapeI just managed to snap the bolt on the seatpost collar, cheap piece of shit, so it's getting a new one of them as well as an inline carbon seatpost asap.

Hi Crows
Can I post this picture on my Rossin Project blog?this is my rossin (t)rack bike :), i'll probably get crucified for slapping sweptback handlebars on a vintage track frame but its such a nice ride now and room for shopping or girlfriend on the front, maybe not with these wheels

Very nice, maybe a Ritchey seatpost to match the stem and bars?
Speaking of which, where did you pick the bars up?

sumo what does the crabon weight in at?
approximately 8kg according to my really shit luggage scales.
-
• #52490
Sumo, Fade and myself need to have a Taiwanese carbon weigh off. bet mine is lighter. smaller innit
yours is also broken.
I should probably get a Ritchey seatpost, but I don't like their seatposts. I'll probably get an unbranded one to keep it simple.
Got the bars from ebay or something, not too cheap but really nice. -

Lets just call it crank issues.... still need to get digger to fix it

For front rack, I cannot fault this enough;
[IMG]Minoura Gamoh Porteur Front Pannier Rack.jpg
That does look good. As it says "Front Pannier", I'm guess that means it can take panniers, handle bar bags, and any front rack mod you can think of?
Also what are the bars on the Rossin?

Really like the old raleigh track so intereted to see how it turns out, are you going with mud gurards?Sounds like a good plan... I'll get on over to Evans this week... still trying to decide whether to drill the fork for a brake or invest in a clamp on...
I have a couple of Raleigh tracks and love the way they ride, the one I am building atm is hideous though, intentionally, and is not the sum of its parts.. it will still feel nice when ridden though and maybe a rebuild in spring to make it look how it should.
Undecided on mudguards atm... think I will need something but not sure what yet...
Again, love the Rossin. -

Any idea where I can get those Soma Hwy One Road Bars in 26.0??? Can't find them on SJS.
