  • According to Corney, it is routine for Spurs to face 23 shots on target.

  • According to Corny:
    "the guardian says..."

  • WTF happened to Stoke today?

  • Europa League hangover I guess.

In the other news, Chelsea have finally won, kept eleven players on the pitch and on top of all that they kept a clean sheet as well, things are really starting to look up for us.

About time as well for the clean sheet, noticeable that Bosingwa was not playing. Just need the refs. to start giving us some decisions.

  • Day-moe I watched that match and friedel had alot of work to do, the busier of the keepers, but how many of those 23 shots were on target. Some desperate last ditch defending, but alot of snatched hacks and over ambitious long range efforts..
Stats do not tell the whole story..

  • But neither does a 1-3 scoreline...

  • How many of the 23 shots on target were on target?

    Let me ponder that one.

  • Well. That's the question Clive. A goal is not a shot on target.

  • A shot on target is a shot on target.
    A goal is a goal.

(depending on who does the recording)

  • Why is that whenever I keep an eye on Luis Suarez he's claiming a penalty?

    1. Kopite
    2. Forrener
    3. One of 'that lot'
    4. Cheating cunt
  • Fulham had 32 shots, 1 goal, 11 shots on target / saves from Grandad, 7 Shots off target, and 13 blocks.

    Simples.

  • Spurs were battered by Fulham and were fortunate to get anything more than defeat.

  • Corney, I read the first sentence and then thought "Oh no, Corney is trolling again." The rest was simply too long.

    ;o)

Routine wins are when you dominate the game. Spurs did not. Should have had a penalty awarded against them for clear handball in the stoppage time goal mouth scramble. The result would have been very different.

spurs should have had a penalty at the other end a few mins before so it evens out in the end

  • I love Martin Jol, Martin Jol loves me......

    Simples.

(old Spurs chant that they were aparently singing yesterday)

  • Spurs, Newcastle and Liverpool are all punching well above their weight right now.

In other news, is this Capellos attempt to diffus the racism row?
I wonder how Captain NF wil take this news?

Yep Jammy bunch of wankers, including a double handed hand ball in the last few minutes where a penalty would have leveled the scores

It's even a penatly in Rugby; 'Holding the ball in a ruck'

Sidwell pushed Parker outside of the box. Next!? >>>>

  • Football is better than whisky.
    Reported.

  • WTF happened to Stoke today?

We were shite, is what happened. Not just a hangover from Tel Aviv, more worryingly it looked like none of the team were really up for it. Important to re-find our home form against QPR on the 19th or I fear a long miserable season....

I was impressed with FUlham, shame they didn't get it on earlier.. Spurs are riding their luck, two deflected goals and Fulham so unlucky, both them and city are riding it now. both letting in goals so should be very interesting when they hit their purple patches....

it was actually inside the box... and barged is more like it, but walker fell onto the ball, couldn't really do anything about the handball....

  • that said. Parker and Freidel were two great bits of business by the twitcher. two signings i'd want to see in the right side of north london.

^ Parker went down like a nonce..

they are in the right side of north london......

he was barged, there was no intention to get the ball etc. etc. it might be one of those things where we have to agree to disagree
