I'm doing Weight Watchers which doesn't measure calorie intake at all. I've only just realised I don't have to consider it by reading the posts above. WW allows you to eat pretty much what you like, in moderation, except definitely reducing red meat. Coming up for a fortnight without a beer too, which is unheard of.
Lost another 2lbs this week, so the weight is coming off consistently, and I'm getting accustomed to how a reduced diet makes me feel generally. Treated myself to a milkshake the other day and I couldn't finish it; too rich for my new blood.
