merino knee warmers are so comfy
squats and rubs thighs

Dan, I thought that your dissatisfaction was because of sizing issue?
On another note, has anyone tried their merino knee warmers already?
No the pad is shit and moves around loads - the actual fit of the shorts is quite good. I'd actually like them if they didn't have the pad

Does anyone want one of these? Its the waxed/water resistant one. Its a small. Brand new in the bag, never worn. £8 if you pick it up from Holborn.

Sorry, James. I'm being a bit thick... what did you mean?

I'm very pleased with mine. The pad stays in place.

Those waxed hats are awesome, waterproof n all. Apart from Rapha's caps are very shallow.
Day-Mo is selling a medium one too.

Can I ask what made you go for the Pro-team Jacket over the winter jersey?
As far as I can tell (from the website) they both do more or less the same thing so I can't decide which to go for and a lack of a lottery win last night means I can't buy both.

by the feel of the material i assumed it might be a little more showerproof than the winter jersey which is made of sportswool (the merino blend)

I've got a winter jersey, and it isn't that windproof and certainly not waterproof. Looks as the the pro-team jacket is similar to the assos 851 jacket.

^ i think that would be a fair comparison
the winter jersey has a windproof lining on the front but is not a windproof jersey
as with a lot of cycling kit, its about layering and assessing conditions on the day and having some flexibility - deciding if a rain jacket, gilet or a stowaway is going to be appropriate for the days conditions
the pro-team jacket was perfect for today, not too hot felt warm and dry when i stopped for a coffee

I have both the Winter Jersey (last season) & The Pro-Team Jacket -
I found the Winter Jersey a little too warm even in the depths of last winter – I also found the WJ a little restricting.
( I have the WJ in black from last season in a Small – if anyone is interested ? )
The PT Jacket is a lovely piece of kit - couple this with the Rain Jacket I can’t see myself needing anything else
To get me though the winter months. -

More than a hint of Rapha adorning Lee Dixon as he attended Islington By Bike, a community/family bike ride.

I got the R + PS one and it was really good to ride in apart from being too short at the back. (You can see this in the last picture on the product page.)
The actual quality was abysmal though and it pilled after two wears so I took it back. If they've sorted out the quality control issues (of which there seem to be many, especially with the Rapha/Paul Smith merino gear) then it should be a decent top.
I'm tempted myself but a recent splurge (with the aid of the above discount code) means it'll have to wait until at least next year.

Me too. Gonna try the womens rain jacket for size at condor this weekend, really hoping it fits. I very much DON'T want to spend £££ on a jacket, but every other one I've tried (tens of them) has been a shapeless pastel bin bag, so down to my last resort for staying dry this winter :/

Anyone have any opinions on the long sleeved shirt and trousers? Thinking they might be a good idea for days when I need to be smart. Shame I can't get away with wearing my black Sidi Genius 5s as smart black shoes

Are there any discount codes for Rapha going round at the moment?
Thanks!
I'll give it a go tomorrow.
