Waldsiedlung Wandlitz, north of Berlin was Honecker's little enclave, after the high-ranking SED members moved from Majowski-Ring in Pankow. This is also worth a visit, and has a really good little visitor centre with bilingual displays all about it. It's also near the other Sowjetisches Ehrenmal, which is even more hidden than the one in Treptower Park.
