i have a slight shimano predjudice, but dont really care, i would like to be as period correct as possible and i am trying to decide the budget so that i can decide whether to sell it or not. might just go for a shimano 600 tricolour group since i already have some of the parts, but i would loove to see a mavic starfish crank on it.
what i would really like to know is what rims would be period correct for the build? and would it be a cardinal sin to run with clips and straps?
