fair enough - ive not been to busaba, but i doubt i'll bother. it stands to reason that regional food gets watered down and mass marketed for western punters. i doubt 1000 year old duck egg congee is gonna fly off the pass, but i just wish they'd try a bit fucking harder. 'ping pong' is the worst offender.

Ping pong can cock off. Dim sum should not be served in the evening, and it should be served from a trolley. go to New world.

Very basic cafe interior but the food has always been excellent and is cheap too! The laksa is legendary, and very generous. :)

C & R rocks my world, Malay food almost as good as my mothers although the Bayswater one isn't quite as good as the Soho one. For Malay cafe food, Makan on Portobello isn't bad either.
