i'm the hill climber around here, i would say it's me who will be the winner but it's the off season for me so i'll let pistaboy win
-
• #104
how heavy is pistaboy anyway? i'm a whopping 12 stone, so i'm a bit slow up hills these days

POSTPONED
I have too much uni work on at the moment to organise this well, so let's postpone it. Maybe I can drum up some more interest in the meantime too.
-
• #110
I'll enter if it's free, but I'm not gonna ride hard
-
• #111
Glad it's being postponed as could not make the 5th. If anyone wants to create a gpx track to follow, I will go out and put down an individual time trail to be chased down. And the toughest hill, has to be Winwood Heath Road in the Lickeys. Long and steep!

No trail. A trail made of time to be followed :)

Maybe we need time trialling to liven up BFGSS?!
Who's up for a reccy of the Hell Climb route at the weekend sometime soon? At the moment I have this MAP OF ASCENTS plotted. I have a paper map but it doesn't cover the whole area. Does anyone with a SatNav want to come? Danwentskiing, you've got a Garmin haven't you? I reckon we should go in an anticlockwise direction, stop at the Peacock Inn for a rest, then head home.
Once we've ridden the hills we can grade them, set up the points system and then it's just a matter of finding a date when a few of us are free.

Nice one Stu. I think this is a great call. Getting people out to actually ride will be interesting...

You can from a route plotted on Bikely, Which is better for bike routes too, gives you the elevation profile etc.
bonfire's are for at night, only dale farm have 'em during the day
