I think they're bang on. You diamond.

I broke my wrist and my Charge a few months ago, but I've only just managed to get a bike back together now.
Lots to change, but for the moment it rides beautifully.

you'll notice that yours have the 'A' the right (wrong) way round, whereas Spinto's are the wrong (right) way round.
also avaliable form the bay > http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Basso-set-decals-vintage-campagnolo-/300562100928

Looks really nice! I'll go black zoncolan classic drop and black bartape.

The A in my photograph is on the drive side. Spinto's A is a non-drive side A, so is obviously the other way round.

..okay..

:)
You still read left-to-right whichever side of the bike you're looking at.
The A character, is 'wrong' (it's flipped horizontally) in Spinto's decal. As are the ebay decals. Which may infact be correct for the Basso logo. William your's are not flipped.

I need help with Les!
Basically the dropouts are really short, wanted to run 48x17 but even with a half link can't get great tension.
So I've got a new sram s300 chainset, with a grey 48t 1 1/8 ring, has anyone got a similar 49t ring they would swap me? This and the 18t cog I have should give perfect tension.
Just a heads up, I live in Leeds so swap would have to be via post, I can cover your expenses if needs be. Cheers.

chainring swapshop
I have a 49t track chainring, it's a stronglight, so not exceedingly pretty...but good quality and you can black out the white.

Was too psyched up to wait for winter and studs and stuff so I just put some random parts lying around. The bike clearly wants bigger tyres, cant wait for some snow so I can put 37mm studs under it.

Hi all
Brand new member here (be gentle).
Just starting up my first fixie project and this forum looks to be the place for info and/or help. Will post pics and that when I've got my camera back.
Also, is it bad practise to start my own thread on this sort of thing (because I will probably need help and it'll be better for the forum if it's all in one place rather than scattered about...)
Cheers

There's a startup thread, someone will be along and point it out soon...

Looking good but yeah, I couldn't get over how much better mine looked with bigger tyres on it. Went from 23C to 37C and the difference was amazing.

here's my rather strange but lovely get about steed....

love that! guess its single speed? still would have straps. I like hows its all mismatched, especially the bars. Is that a dean seatpost, ti?

• #52224
Did you get that off retrobike? It was a bargain!
-
• #52225
Yes, off Retrobike. It's an old USE seatpost. I like the idea of treating a Colnago irreverently. I actually find the paint jobs on the Master Olympics pretty hideous. I try not to look down when I'm cycling so I don't have to look at the horrible top tube. It reminds me of the packaging on packets of Chinese sweets from the Chinese supermarket. May well put straps on soon.
