hummm... isn't it an unwritten rule that having "street" written on anything that isn't actually a Street or a tin of chocolates = pile of wank?

  • It's not a rule, it's a fact.

  • assertion

  • why would you put death forks on a trick bike?

  • why would you put death forks on a trick bike?

    Death forks?

  • I think they are the wheels I wish I hadn't missed from a few weeks ago... Miche hubs? Argh.

  • Nah don't fret, just a spaced out Ultegra hub. Threw it together with bits and pieces yesterday

  • Ha. Nice work... This weeks weather has made me remember why I need a pub/beater/rat bike...

  • or a mudguard... :P

  • And a mudguard... And... fuck this bike/clothing/good vibe destroying weather

  • I need mudguards, and a shorter stem oh and some better brake levers. Sort of takes away the beater edge eventually

  • Why is there a frame lying on the streets?

  • Apparently, the photographer asked for a stripped a frame to be d-locked it to some street furniture - to make it look as though someone had stolen the parts. (You can just make out the black d-lock in the main triangle).

It gives the photo a more authentic edge. The vandalized Supreme posters also add to the mood.

  • Fucking love this bike:

My old housemates dawes mtb, after i'd fixed the wheel and upgraded his non-existant-death-canti's brakes to new v-brakes.

Just found it in my photos. I always wanted to buy it and fix it up with a ahead, and some new bits and pieces.

  • ^^saw a very similar d-locked frame on shaftesbury avenue today. It was d-locked to the railings opposite the forbidden planet.

  • saw this in [tsobfuscationmode]south-london[/tsobfuscationmode] on the weekend.

the raleigh stowaway I sorted for HatMissus will end up having a similiar fate if she doesn't ride it much before the end of spring next year.

  • coaster brake without a chainstay clamp?

  • looking at it I think it's the sturmey archer 3-speed hub.

  • rat bikes are awesome

  • It's too fat to be a coaster brake on its own - it definitely looks like AW hub and no rear brake, or possibly an AW-coaster, though I can't see a reaction arm either.

  • saw this the other day, nice to see brookes have upped their game at last

  • Mechanic's fixed wheel bicycle, old Herne Hill hire track frame;
