Either you're in league with the Anodizer from Hell or you need to fix your filter.

That looks good.
Is it a KHS?

FixedCheese, a really nice luminous green there. Any idea if that's a standard Ral colour, 6038 for instance?

suggest you get pedals with the tab on the bottom so you can tap them round to slide your foot in > http://www.wiggle.co.uk/mks-sylvan-track-pedals/

where did you get the wheels from?
Latest situation for the winter beater...
Gonna get some different, slightly smaller tyres and need some spacer thingies for the hubs. Seat post on it's way, saddle purchased, just need grips, front calliper, cables, chain, pedals and straps!
-
• #52088
Nigel, low seatpost, deep drop track bars and a raised stem on a big old pile of spacers...
I would put a spacer between the top cap and the stem as well, innit.

I was a little worried that perhaps I had made the photo a bit too Tumblr.
That looks good.
Is it a KHS?
Thanks. It basically is - it's a Kilo TT, one of the ones with bottle cage mounts and no decals. They're the same frame other than those two things.

What frame is that?
If you're asking me, then it's some old Raleigh from 1980. The powercoating has filled in the frame number on the seat tube, so it's hard to tell exactly what Raleigh. It's weird, it has cable guide and pump braze-ons but nothing else...

Armourtex said it was a pantone, not a RAL. I just went up there and picked it out, they have a sample tube of it next to the desk.
where did you get the wheels from?
Off the forum. Halo Aerowarriors laced to Halo hubs.
Either the hubs are too wide or the drop outs too small (by quite a bit), the wheels don't fit in properly... Time to get the tape measure out.

not a football fan, we just do lots of work for them- hundreds of arsenal bits all over the office!
Yeah, but they're like 45c or somin, they'll be too big for the clearances once the wheels are set in properly.
