I've read through most of the thread and I'm thinking about getting a backpack instead of my chrome metropolis. I was looking at the Chrome Backbone or the Ortlieb messenger but I can't really decide. Need room for hauling a load of fruit and veg and other bulky groceries as well as various books, boxes, clothes and other junk from time to time.
Anyone own either and feel like sharing their opinions on them (or any alternatives around the same price)?
