Rapha, nice but a bit pricey?

I got a pair of the leather town gloves, but bought the large as i was told they stretch quite a bit, been wearing them for about 4 days but they still feel too small. Has anybody had experience with them? How long do they take to stretch out?

I had this with pro team mitts - I expected them to stretch a bit. They didn't and as they were worn, Rapha wouldn't take them back.
