Not water proof, but are great at keeping my hands at a comfortable lever, and the grip is optimal, most important thing for me as I use them for BMX too. Nice plus, they rip at the fingertops first after a year or so, so I can mess around on my iPhone while riding.
I still go with full leather carbon knuckled moto gloves for sub 5 degree weather. Great grip and insulation, yet good with dealing with moisture.
