VB - I have a good friend who was a CEO/COO for a start up IT company in the early 90's - him and another friend of mine. He's now sold up and is consulting for other start ups - company was successful for 10+ years under him and is still trading. PM me if you are interested in talking to him - he's a good guy and am sure would be happy to meet for a beer / some initial advice.
