Thanks guys. Feeling better with my cut off ski poles. Will try to finish the mallets for tomorrow. Can anyone tell me the size of your pipe bits? 5" seem small, 8 quite long...? But I found everything in the forums...

Standard size is about 120-130mm, so about 5", but it's really up to you, people play with anything from 80mm to 180mm (maximum in the rules)

The longer the head, the easier it is to block/accept passes, but it also adds more weight, making it harder to use.
