I was completely overwhelmed by the response for Hell's Belles this weekend.
Massive thanks go to all of our sponsors, Brooks, Rollapaluza, Oak Cycles, Chunk, Rapha, 2pure and Pedros, Waiting for the Sun, The Black Rainbow Project, Schwalbe and Push.
It was a pleasure to be involved in organising a tournament with such amazing, talented and creative people. I am gay for Erin. Adrienne, your design was bomber. Helen, Zoe, Julia, Joni, Margs, V and all the rest of the llhbpa, I am really proud to call you my friends and have a never ending amount of respect for you all for how you approached this so positively and productively.
The support of the London guys for womens polo is partly the reason we have such tight ladies scene and before, after and on the day you were all amazing. Thanks John for all your hard work, Jono for the invalueable advice, to everyone who reffed, Alexis for the bikes and van action, Eggpie for the music and trailer action and making us laugh when we were going slightly nuts... There is a big list and you all know who you are so thanks so much for everything.
To Elaine and Claire I wanted to give massive props for giving up you weekend to whip us all into shape and I can't wait to get you guys on the court soon (I heard you have a dance...?). And Chris you were so great this weekend...if you don't start playing I will hunt you down.
As for all the players who travelled from as far as LA and Canada, Switzerland and Spain, it was a massive honour to have you all here and see just how bad ass Ladies polo is world wide. I know that a lot of the guys were instrumental in convincing some of those girls to come and so great on the court. Thanks to all of you for putting up with the heckling with such good humour!
