I don't want to draw this one out, but looking at John's body-shape, you can see that his upper body is very much to the side, almost sitting on Iain's saddle, and if he had dropped his left arm, he would almost be hugging Iain.
This is all a little unfair, as it's a freeze-frame of dynamic action.
And I want to make it clear that I am discussing, as opposed to condemning.
