FU..!! have a dent on my frame now...
Smashed into a car the other day. Head bruised (outwards)(was shaky the following day, but fine now), and a bruise (inwards) on the top tube. Unfortunately it was also my fault. Whatever... lack of concentration after a very long day with an aching head waiting to burst explains it all.,
Luckily, the frame is fine, not bent, just the dent. The buckled front wheel was sorted in minutes..
So far, I've managed to get some deal of the dent out again with treating the spot with subzero temps.
The edges of the dents show out of the frame at their corners. I'm not really sure how to deal that yet. Maybe I should just bring it on to someone who understands his trade of these damages..
Anyway, just to say: If you run your machine with drops; consider to mount a top tube protector to it. It'll save you a lot of hassle and an ugly spot...
