its your bike, you can put whatever you like on it. Don't expect the porn police here to like it very much if you build it with SRAM Red and DA wheels though.

For the record, in relative terms that's not a stupid amount of money for wheels- though for less money you could DA hubs to open pros, or even a DT Swiss 240 build (super nice)... either of which would be much nicer than those Shimano wheels
