Or is Chantastic's film not in the Urban Shorts?
-
• #328
Heard from Chan that his is in Racing Towards Red Hook on Friday.
Carry on.
-
• #329
Yep, it's Friday night that sold out. But then again the people going on Friday will probably miss the free beer at the party.

Where you getting your shit printed, Joe? What's the bestest, fastest, cheapest way to get something on a Tee (besides with a marker)?
-
• #331
Bestest, fastest? These guys:
They did mine in 90 minutes, and really good quality printing and t-shirts, unlimited colours
Cheap? no, it's £25
-
• #332
what did you do for the other 50 minutes...?
I refer you to the honourable Dimmo, below...
"shredded like a god"
apparently.I think that means: had a wank.
I've got my chops back...

I bought two cans of spray paint, gonna make some ghetto stencils tomorrow... Get in!

John, £25 includes t-shirt price right?
If you ask for a Phenom (Spring Break) t-shirt, the price comes down to £12 (ish) printed, bargain. Although it may have gone back up now the demands gone up again...
-
• #334
They charged me £20 per shirt for the Open, those prices are long gone... :[
-
• #335
Theo still gives me deals, mu ha hah!
-
• #336
Primark Tees and ghetto stencils might be the way. Need sweet connections like Yorgo, he just gets somebody to do vinyl heat transfers for him, provides his own cheapo Primark tees (so it seemed with the ECM shirts, anyway).
-
• #337
Ah, I didn't realise the phenom ones were the ones you guys had. Makes sense now. Meh

if you buy this - A4 Inkjet Iron On Transfers Paper / T Shirt Transfers - Dark T Shirt x 10 Sheets: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics
you can do your own (hand-cut) heat pres (iron on) transfer in any colour you like (as long as its white) with out needing a computer and printer.....
should be able to get some unbranded stuff from a craft type shop pretty cheap + scalpel = win
-
• #339
Inkjet won't last very long though... we had sweet shirts for last year's BFF through iron-on inkjet but they didn't last in the wash (and split if they were stretched too much).
The pressure and ink from industry heat press t-shirts is much more intensive, etc.
Adam's Badger Boys t-shirts were pretty sweet (stencil and spray can did loads).
-
• #340
Oh yeah, it's pretty shit, but if you want simple collegiate style letters etc, then you get a better finish that spray stencil....
-
• #341
I considered that option but have lazers in my printer.
-
• #342
One-off ghetto print runs are the way forward...
-
• #343
I considered that option but have lazers in my printer.
I'm talking about using the paper unprinted (white) as a heat press material... to do lettering or simple hand cut designs....
-
• #344
The phenom deal is still in their website
-
• #346
can' t you just stencil a D over the S?
-
• #347
ja!
-
• #348
groan
-
• #349
I was serious. Or a piece of sticky stencil like you get in halfords.

Not been keeping an eye on the thread, very irresponsible. Can anyone put me up for Saturday night? Looking to play Saturday if anything happening. Don't be angry with me :-/
How come people keep saying it is sold out? I finally checked on my own, just now, and there are more openings than sold seats at the 9pm Urban Shorts.
Guess I'll go to the 9pm too.
