Right...am finally pulling my finger out and time to experiment with gearing. Am going to buy a couple of cheapish cogs today after doing better than usual but still failing on hills on sat.
I'm currently on 42:16, so thinking going for 18 on the back...that will make things spinnier on the flat right but hopefully get a few more turns in on hills, right? Also, dozy question but do I need a different lock ring for each cog?
Brace yourself for posts crying about not being able to use a chain whip later ; )
