The front wheel had the slackest spokes I've ever seen on a bike. 5 minutes with a spoke spanner and it's now decently tight and true. I slapped some old pedals on it and it rides OK. I'll prolly ride it a bit to find out the joys of singlespeeding (and to HTFU - 44x16 gear) but I'd like to believe it won't fold up or turn to dust beneath me.
