The LONDON fixed gear and SINGLE SPEED forum probably thinks single speed is ok for London.
Do NOT by that bike; it is crap. It is basically a Create - put that word in to the Search and you will see why it is a very bad buy.
Use the search here, have a look at OTP (off the peg) bikes, read around.
