Aye, I think GB's plan was pretty straight forward. Assume Cav would win a bunch sprint, and use the rest of the riders to make sure that happens by drilling it on the front for the length of the race. Awesome display of team strength.
Gerraint Thomas was there in the Renshaw role to look after Cav at the finish, but that didn't quite go to plan.
