Meet in Brentwood at the corner of Ongar road and Shenfield road (by Wilson's corner roundabout). 12 noon on Saturday any good?

Just want to add the caveat that I don't have a smart phone or OS map, so will be using road signs and inferior local knowledge.

hi guys, been away for a while but i am looking to get a few rides before it get too cold.

i live in langdon hills so can get to most places to start (b-wood etc.)

i am also riding the nature reserve near me if anyone has a mountain bike and fancies a smash up off road.

I'm thinking of a ride to Dedham or somewhere near the River Stour in a couple of weeks. About 50 miles from Brentwood. Could ride back, or take a train back from Colchester. If people are interested, I'll endeavour to come up with a route.

Went for a little ride with a mate to Hanningfield on Saturday and ended up going down a road in Stock that lead through a farm/country manor and turned all "off road" on us. A little bit hairy and embarrassing having to ask the golf club wielding resident where the fuck we were!

I'm going to cycle a route from Brentwood to Writtle and back via Ongar on Saturday. Quite scenic in the autumn. Did the route a month or so ago with Stu F and mattplansb. Could meet up with Chelmsford riders in Writtle? Post on here if you're keen.

So the guys from work seem to have piked out of the ride to Brighton, so i'm in.
