There are a lot of SII vs Sensation reviews out there. But in short:
Sensation: better resolution, HTC sense
SII: thinner, better screen colours, more processing power
I have a sensation, and it never runs slow, so the processing power isn't an issue. Best to play with both in a phone shop, as others have suggested.
