Going to be controversial and give Psycho a 5/10. It has lost the majority of its shock-factor (if it really did have any to start with) and has definitely not aged well*. Found the same with The Birds - let down by some pretty damn poor acting and also not withstood the test of time.
North by North-west on the other hand - fantastic film.
*Brilliant use of music/orchestra though
