I want to run a 10speed MTB cassette (11-34 (maybe 36)), with a single 31T chainring. I'd like to use an Sram TT500 shifter, and a short cage rear MTB mech.
With all the song and dance about 1:1 'Exact Actuation', I figured this would be simples. But Sram seem to have some different terminology in the MTB ranks. I may have read some 9spd info along the way, which confused me though.
Questions:
Will a short cage, 10spd, X9 rear mech work with a TT500 shifter?
Can said rear mech cope with a 36T cassette sprocket?
ED: FYI the survey on the Sram site is fecking with my PC.
