I said same price Ed, and Pinnacle is still seen as Evans house brand- it's not a (perceived, maybe) match for a make like Cannondale.
But I don't work in a bikeshop, so what do I know.
It just seems a bit of a retrograde step to release a cross bike without the facility to run discs now that they are coming into the sport following the rule change.
