Last time I was looking, being firmly in the +£100 camp buys you a proper gore-tex jacket. Where as being in the sub-£100 gets you something you'll later wish you hadn't spent the £80-100 on.
.... because I wanted something really light and breathable without spending the money goretex. Now I wish I'd have spent the extra.
I also have a rapha fixie jacket thing (the old version of this before they changed the name to something less retarded), that I wear much, much more...and strangely enough makes me sweat less.
Also I'd draw up a list of your criteria. It's been a while since I read it but someone said it - there's no such thing as an "Ultimate" riding jacket. It's always a balance.
If I were you I'd up the budget by £20.
