Started out on a nice 18mile loop with a mate on Saturday (who is just starting to get into riding). Slow going, but pleasant nonetheless. That is until he discovered he'd dropped his wallet somewhere, and we had completed about 3/4 of the route. We turned around and started to re-trace our steps. Meanwhile the heavens opened and we got soaked through. And we didn't find the wallet.
It was still a good ride, and my mate's wallet turned up when he was ringing around cancelling cards; someone had reported it found to one of his banks. He got it back unscathed and with all the contents intact :)
