That Jackson is gorgous.
Was riding with a group last week who suggested my 70s jackson would look good on wheels like that, didn't believe them, but with a modern 10spd + external BB crankset I can imagine it would.
The climbing and upshifting thing, friction gears on down tubes have been around for half a century now, IS there a solution for the annoying upshift every time you get out of the saddle in anger? At first I thought it was because I was knocking it with my knee, yet even when riding in a stupid position (to make it impossible for knee interference) it still happens.
