Would like to make up for my poor performance last week, but Essex epic afterworker calls.
-
• #2429
i would be there but the wednesday night hour and a half of power seems to have given me food poisoning, has this ever happened to any one before?
-
• #2430
I have intervals to do. I think I will do them on the turbo though.
-
• #2431
3 pints, and a selection of encased meat products. Either I'm ready or I'm gonna spew. Maybe both.

Can't make tonight... really annoyed about it. Thursday's loss is Saturday mornings reprieve
-
• #2434
Gonna do it on the Look because I don't know how many clear Thursdays we have left. Apologies in advance :)

• #2435
Looks like i'll be rolling with the disc on my billy own then!
-
• #2436
I suppose I could put the disc on the fixei. hmm.
-
• #2438
No coz then i'll have to keep up with you!
My disc weigh's 2kg ner-ner-ner-ner-neeer!
-
• #2440
I might put my disc on....
Is this foolish?
-
• #2441
not at all. I'm definitely definitely on the look. leaving now.
-
• #2442
Only if it weighs less than 2kg is it foolish!
-
• #2443
That was a delight! Nice and gentle to start and a good little stretch of the legs at the end. Most civilised.
-
• #2444
Turbo outside, scare neighbours, win.
-
• #2445
Fuck I was slow. 66GI was not good. Did 5 solo laps in 40 mins, 20mph average was a bit of a downer
-
• #2446
That was fun! You guys were quick... That crazy lady who slammed into the back of me tore my sock! I forgive her because she made me pull off a schweet skid...

that put a downer on things a little for me, but these things happen. two years of acting like dickheads in the park, surprised it hasn't happened sooner really :P she's normally quite quick, sensible and predictable but it only takes one bit of inattentiveness to break things. amazed you got out of it so lightly. at the end of the day you're riding with strangers, in a group of mixed ability, some fixed, some not. there's a lot to take into account (and I made a dud call on the light. but it was going to be red, and running them is wrong, innit)
the darkness in RP seems a little darker than the rest of london and things felt, to me, towards the end, a little iffy, so I'm not sure how many more of these I'll be 'running'. Probably keep it going to the end of the month and then disband until March comes around :)
(and next weeks HoP is a theory based session, but don't let that put you off parking it if you so desire.) -

It was a quick stop at that light, yeah. She could have seen that it was red and I signalled that I was slowing. The whole time I was skidding I thought I was gonna wipe out, totally amazed I didn't!
Maybe we could do a few HoP on Sunday afternoons during these darker days? Don't take it away from me Tom, I've only just started!

It's a bit silly when it starts getting gloomy - people are tired, don't signal what they're up to and make generally funny decisions. Could do with a bit of discipline when the group gets big. HOO-RAH! etc.
Not sure how it is I always end up riding around with a different group of people either.....
