What TV have you got? I think my problems with playback are my TV, not Skifta. I've got a Bravia which has a really limited selection of things it will play. The on the fly conversion from Serviio is good but not that good either.

I'm super impressed but it all seems to have a long way to go.

I have a Samsung UE32C5100, to be precise! It can play all sorts of stuff off an external hard drive plugged directly into the TV (Including MKV files, which is very cool!)

But when I tried serving those same files over DLNA with XBMC, it claimed it couldn't play that file format. LIES!

Yeah, there's a long way to go, but it's going to be cool!
