The only other phone that I have had that went wrong as often was a Blackberry Pearl- that was replaced roughly every 3 months.
The casing of my iPhone cracked by the charger port, that was replaced under warranty also.
I am still using the Nexus as it's basically a new phone- I get a new one every three months from Vodafone, so my motivation to buy a new handset is limited, especially as I have not seen anything on the market that makes me want to spend ~£450 on it.
The only application I use is the Kindle app, and the main use the phone gets is email, web-browsing, Kindle, texts and phone calls, in that order.
