The ker is a great boat to sail but not to live on. Has a couple of fold down pipe cots down below and some relatively flat bits of fibreglass in places.... but that's it.
I did a 200 mile offshore race on one and sleeping options - even for a small off watch crew - were pretty poor. We all slept in the cockpit in harbour after the race. To save weight the engine casing has no soundproofing so engine hours are miserable. The engine is very underpowered too so all in all I wouldn't recommend one for too long a passage!
