i took the helm of a 50ft swan class formosa a few years back, brought it back into lymington harbour after a day out around the solent, that was some experience, it handled really well, but i don't have the experience to skipper this trip.. this is the closest i've got, three days racing from cowes.. http://www.littlebritain.co.uk/web/code/php/main_c.php?map=lbcc11&ui=2011&style=std&override=§ion=home
i need to get some qualifications if i want to go off-shore.. solent-cannes-solent will not be a cheap gig.. reckon on at least £2,000 each.. budget of £16,000..
but what a trip !!!
