  • Your so awesome!

    Thanks :D

  • Haha. That is the correct way to deal with internet sarcasm too.

    :)

  • Fuck me, that's awful.

  • heh, yeah the carpet is pretty sweet

  • I like the red, but not the black.

But I think the real story here is indeed the carpet.

  • how much do you think the carpet retails at?

  • Where can I buy this carpet? Is it in 3D?

  • I read this thread before clicking the picture and really didnt think the carpet could be that bad

    But jeebus..

  • I kinda like it; maybe change the wheels...

  • That carpet looks like a bit of Karndean.....

    Just saying

Apart from that, a bit gash

  • Finally got a photo of mine to post. I had the aluminium/carbon Langster a few years ago and the Steel definitely rides a bi differently, noticeably heavier to carry but don't really think I can feel the difference when riding, feels more solid and a bit damper, which I like.

  • "...a bit damper, which I like"

    Wet Bike Fetishist

  • I'm looking for a new stem for mine, anyone replaced theirs, any suggestions?

  • I've just put a nitto techniomic on mine.... not much different tbh, just a bit shorter in reach. I bought it so I could fit a set of rb021's which have really improved my enjoyment of the bike.

  • does any one know if the 2011 model comes with brakes when you buy them new ?

'''''also wondering if they have flip flop hubs on the rear as the spec im seeing on the website is contradicting the pic many thanks

  • Answar:
They will definitely come with brakes.
They often show them without brakes for looks.

They definitely come with a flip flop hub too.

  • I bought a Langster Steel '11 back in June and I'm enjoying it. It's been great for cycling around town, etc.

Yes, comes with brakes and a flip-flop hub.

  • How hard is it to get the graphics off the Chrome/Steel model?

Is it simply peel off or are they under a layer of lacquer?

Warm up with a hairdryer and just peel 'em off. Easy peasy.

  • The Langster 2012 Pro was posted earlier in this thread, but just saw the Langster 2012 on the Evan's website. Apparently it has a fixed/fixed hub and a 48:15 ratio. Do you think they're aiming this model at actual track riders/beginners? I guess you'd need to change the wheels anyway. Not bad for <£500..?

Not sure about the zebra crossing paint job.

  • I doubt it, it's coming with f/r brakes and brake hood.

  • Oh... So is it true about the fix/fix hub and track ratio then? Does it have to be sold with a rear brake, legally?
PS: Knife saddle's awesome btw, cheers!
