Ahhhh what a frigging pain in the arse. I did the same years ago with a mate re-installing a 727. There's 2 shoulders that the converter has to slide over to line up and we only got one. Fortunately he noticed it before we fucked the whole thing up.

Just as a quick aside, did you fill the converter with fluid before you put it in?

yeah, i here it is a common thing. i honestly knew about it and thought it was all the way in. live and learn. exhaust and tailshaft already off, plugs off. will finish tomorrow.

yeah it had fluid. expensive castrol transmax-z full synthetic $AUS76 (50pounds) for 4litres
