very clean underbody. california or desert car?! surprised they don't run another under the seat anchor points side to side. the tank is a straight forward thing,as long as they clean it before cutting and pressure test afterwards.
got adjustable pushrod tool today. got the length, just need to do some ringing around tomorrow.
Well done on getting it back together. Shouldn't be too much drama to measure up and sort out a new set of pushrods, right?
Bit of progress on mine. Frame connectors are in, boxed into the floorpan and all painted back up. Engine bay is completely stripped and getting painted along with the engine this week.
Still got all the fuel lines to replumb, some of the brakes and sort out all the wiring for the new EFI. Think the tank is going to have to come out and be sumped for the new electric pump which is going to be a pain in the arse. Still should be back into re-assembly pretty soon.....might even be finished for some greasy autumnal road action, I've mixed feelings about that.....Can't wait to hear the bloody thing running though!
Pic attached of the new frame connectors - fortunately all the pans were completely solid, not bad for nearly 50yrs old sheetmetal!
