What time is it? Watches and horology

As for that Ballistic Typhoon, I've found them on Amazon for £30, so no stress. I've seen them before, but ignored them - never knew how they look close up and now I quite fancy one as a beater watch.

Can't wait. I need a sensible (dress) watch, and all the watches I own (bar my Explorer 1) have a function so to speak.

This WILL be the last serious one I buy - and Patek's are way out of my league - their steel watches start at 9k!
