• Sparky, just hire it. Having an older car thats not in regular use means that things fail more often and needs more work like brakes sticking, tyres squaring and bearings failing. This all cost money which if you can afford, fine but why have the hassle just hire and use. That way you know it will start and work. Or if you are mechanically inclined do you have some where to work in the dry, warm and the light?

    I was afraid someone would say that. Thing is, I want to have one for a long time, fettle it, improve it, drive it. But at the moment it wouldn't get driven a lot as I'm working up in London. There is a garage in Norwich I could keep it in.
