finally got round to watching 'Hurt Locker' about the American bomb squad.

Bordering on propagandist, over-patriotic undertones again

Gets a 5/10 from me.

have Long Good Friday waiting to be watched, wonder if it'll be too violent for family company, dint realise it's an 18...
also the London Nobody Knows and Bicyclettes de Belsize, for more london filmage.

Very good film! Not terribly violent. A lot of implied violence though, and an explosion or 2.

Fixed. Boring, pointless story.. if you can call it that. One of the few 'good' animations that didn't suck me in.

Laputa, Nausicaá, Princess Mononoke, Sword of the Stranger on the other hand - absolute bliss to watch. One or 2 cheesy moments in both Laputa and Nausicaá but I wouldnt score them any less than a 9 (maybe 8.5 for SotS though)
