Really? I found quite a lot of positive reviews online before i bought mine. I can't speak for the non spd ones, but the soles are great on mine, really stiff, as good as my carbon soled shimano's. I used to wear mine to work so I wouldn't have to bring a change of shoes, they were great apart from walking up and down stair is a bit weird with rigid soles.
Those prolly ones are damn nice looking I have to say.
