white tyres never look good
I disagree; older porteurs, some three speed cruisers and the like can look handsome with white (cream rather) tires.

• #50029
hence why I said white not cream

we had a customer who have a LOOK frame being build with modern 105 groupset, problem was we didn't have any normal clamp size road drop so he have to source it elsewhere.

I'm getting some serious Look envy.

Single Speed MK2
Certainly not porn worthy but I don't think it's too anti either :)
It's a shame about the forks but the threads on the one that came with the frame were stripped so I had to buy a different second hand set and rethread the steerer tube.
Any suggestions on colour co-ordination anyone, apart from the forks anyway? -

Leave it as it is.
The only thing I would change is the saddle and the bar angle if it was mine
-
• #50040
Honestly? leave it.
the more you won't care about it, the more you'll have fun.
seriously it look awesome.

My road bike project is slowly coming together.
Cheap shit second hand frame and second hand tractor wheels on it so far
Going to put a full Rival group on it when monies allow with the aim of upgrading frame and wheels at some point in the future.
Never had a road bike before so sure it'll feel good to me however bad it turns out!

Psee, what are the brakes on this? Campagnolo I assume, but what model/vintage?
Edit: never mind, worked out that they're Athena.

My Lee cooper has a headset after 9 months of ownership! Building for time trials next year. 650c rear which isn't ideal (may convert to 700)

It'd be nice to see some good pics of that once finished. Lee Cooper's frames are usually pretty tidy.

psee, loved that roadie.
I managed to finish my crosscheck - cranks took a while to arrived, needed the right ratios too (11-28 with 30-46 double);
heh, it's a little bit long.
I do think i agree, and i need to get rid of the "singleworks" label on the saddle.
