It's the materials, attention to detail and construction quality, as well as the premium you're paying for the Cabourn name of course. It'll be based in some way on a historical garment. Nigel Cabourn is a pretty interesting designer I think, largely because he operates mainly outside of the fashion world (although he happens to be 'in' fashion at the moment) doing uncompromised renditions of classic clothing to an extremely high standard. Does it for me anyway. You could pick up something that looks similar for a tenth of the price, but I wouldn't mind betting the above would look and feel awesome in reality.
