Yes and no. If you wish to make it sound more stupid so it makes more sense to you then yes. But rendition doesn't have to mean direct copies, it can be versions of things based loosely on old stuff. And, similarly, 'classic clothing' carries more meaning than 'stuff', doesn't it? In this case classic usually means standard issue military or something.

Nigel Cabourn re-issues old classics, or not even classics, just really well made/sort of topnotch garments, usually related to industrial/military purposes. Everything he uses from fabrics, materials, finishing, etc... is top. As is the price. A bit too much is you ask me.
