Hipster alert! The last great RHCP album was undoubtedly Californication, even though By The Way had a few good moments. They arguably came into their own when they discovered harmonies and when Frusciante came to the fore. My favourite was also 'BSSM' though, probably. Not that I've listened to them for ages (hipster disclaimer).
