I don't see the point.
I've had a couple and they have been shit quality. They always are.
For the same money I can buy a cheap and decent quality watch if it has Seiko, Citizen, Casio, etc on the dial.
If I want something that looks like the real thing, well basically it's because I want the real thing. Even if the fake was totally convincing, I would know.
I feel the same about MR2 Ferrari replicas, or Raleighs with Colnago decals
Thankfully I earn enough these days to have bought the watches I really wanted (though I still bought them second-hand. I'm not dumb enough to pay £3.5k for a TAG), and I have to say that the pleasure they give me continues long after the cost is forgotten.
